Hotel is located only 3 minutes ride from Casamicciola terminal (less crowded than the island main port terminal).
It is situated top of cliff w great view of the town and with ELEVATOR down to its own small private beach and lounge area (hotels at Amalfi w own beach elevator cost at least triple nightly rate)
Property is spotless and staff are attentive. They have upgraded us to a newly renovated room just because it was available during our stay.
Highly recommended this hotel if you come to Ischia.
And definitely spend a day at Poseidon Terme

The hotel is clean, and the staff were highly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The spa facilities were incredibly relaxing and well-maintained. The breakfast is simple, but it covers the basics well enough to start the day. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Via Roma on Ischia begins in the port. Hotel Conte is at the start and continues close to shore bringing you to the point. It has so many places to eat and shop that you don't need a car unless you want to explore other parts of island. I stayed 2 weeks and I was completely satisfied during my stay Staff were polite and accommodating. Rooms cleaned every day and spotless. I would definitely stay there again. I left at 5:30am to catch ferry and the night manager asked if I'd like a coffee or anything else. I was so close to port that I actually could of had the coffee. Got on ferry with a smile on my face because there was none of the usual stress getting there on time. Ciao
