Easy parking and access to the region

This hotel is in the prime location for exploring the old Lyon downtown. Room we had is very spacious, with plenty of storage, comfortable bed, large marble bathroom with rain shower, fifth floor, with “city” view, i.e. not a river view. Very quiet. The buffet breakfast is great, especially considering that it is hard to find place to have a full meal around in the morning. Plenty of coffee places, though. Staff is very helpful, however we did not get our promised by Expedia complementary bottle of wine, despite reminding front desk. May be language barrier. Well, we did not remain thirsty 😂. The room was air-conditioned, cleaned everyday, with some additional turn-down services in the evening. Coffee machine in the room, bottled water in the refrigerator, replenished daily - still and sparkling. Great stay overall.

Close to Part Dieu station and surrounded by good bars and restaurants. 25 minute walk to the old town. The Mexican receptionist was extremely helpful and a credit to the hotel.

I have stayed here previously and left a negative review due to excessive noise from slamming doors in the hotel, this remains an issue in some areas as there are many heavily sprung doors throughout the corridors slamming 24/7 making sleep an issue With that said I have stayed here 2 further times in ski and cycling season once in a different area of the building and once in the new construction building, in both cases no noise issues. With the issue of the doors removed the hotel, staff, location, parking and spa facilities are absolutely brilliant it is a fantastic hotel and the restaurant also very reasonable, Even the Aircon is good. As a base for a sports holiday or more likely a stop off on the way to/from the mountains I can't imagine a better arrangement . The slamming door issue is major and is still present.will be a probleut if you are lucky and stay in the correct room

The staff were absolutely helpful with any questions we had, they were lovely. The breakfast was very nice and had many options and delicious pastries. The room was spotless and absolutely welcoming as well.
