An elegant hotel, quite grand and very nicely decorated to fit the period of the building.
Staff were very helpful. Good location, few bars and places to eat nearby. About 15 minutes walk to the busier parts of the city. Loved the library on the to floor and balcony. Honesty bar a nice touch. Room and bathroom very spacious.

The hotel lounge was a fantastic amenity that was well used by guests. There was a sociable and friendly environment. Complimentary tea, coffees, water, pastries, biscuits, fruit and port were available throughout the day and night. There was also a bar for those guests who wanted something different.
The staff were very friendly and helpful!
The historic charm of the hotel and its locality were perfect.
Altogether, a great place to stay.
