Our junior suite was a disappointment. Huge room furnished like a standard room. No sofa, no sitting separation. Looking half empty and far from cozy.

Definitely did not feel not a 5* hotel, more around a 3.5*. Staff were helpful enough even though they seemed little bored half the time. The room, while good size and comfortable beds, always had a terrible smell, which came from the bathroom; which, also while also being decent size, felt like many times, you needed wear a gas mask to use, as the smell was ofter unbearable, coming from the vent above. Also, only paper cups , no glassware or china, come on now!....As some have mentioned, you can at night hear the sounds from the nightclub below until around 2-3am, so if you are a very early/light sleeper, might be a problem..otherwise its not too big of a deal. Best thing about this hotel, is the location, close to the boulevard and beach, variety of shops & dining options within walking distance & very easy to access the rest of city from there.

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with a swimming pool, upscale restaurant, and shiny modern items, move on and keep looking! However, if you want a older hotel full of oddities stuck in every corner, within walking distance of the city highlights, a large breakfast that will keep you going until dinner, staff that will do everything to accommodate you, and all at a reasonable price, this is it! My wife and I, and another couple, stayed here for a week in March (2017). We're a cheap bunch so this was a great deal! We walked our legs off every day, and while the beds were soft, that didn't stop us from crashing every day after we got back. I cannot stress enough how the staff were always smiling and would do whatever they could when help was needed. My only tip is to reserve a room on the second floor as it is quieter, and to pay a little more to have your own bathroom. Other than that, enjoy the sights and sounds of Tbilisi with the Isaka Hotel as your base.
