Awesome view to the castle. Great breakfast nd the room in general was clean and comfortable. The pool area was big, but unfortunately not enough pool chairs. Also there were no towels for use in the pool area.

The resort location is remote with not too much other options ion the area. the beach area was very nice and comfortable. The food at the buffet was not very good and there was little to do at night. were the close to the end of season and the resort was shutting down so that may have a lot to do with the lack of options.

The setting is beautiful with interesting rock formations on the property and rooms separated by open grass and trees. The bar is beside the pool and the restaurant above the pool area for a nice view. The rooms have authentic Sardinian decor with huge, beautiful wooden doors. Front desk was terrific, very warm and helpful. Fantastic place. Nice breakfast with many homemade pastries and jams, big selection and high quality.

I visited this Hotel with a friend in September 2009 for a relaxing long weekend. The Hotel itself is lovely, very well kept and clean. Food is delicious and the service in the restaurant is good. Two very big tips for anyone else thinking of going here, hardly anyone speaks English, so remember to bring a phrase book or brush up on your Italian or you will struggle as my friend and I did. The other big tip is hire a car, the Hotel is no where near anything and taxi's are very very expensive. With these two things in mind, you will have a very memorable time in Sardinia.

For the price and what they claim, not worth the money. Rooms were meh, pool was shaded and definitely gave “quiet pool” vibes. No water was provided at all(none in the gym or lobby)Guests seemed very pretentious (for no reason). There was a long list of “rules” upon check in, including that you couldn’t bring any outside food or drinks to your room. The private beach was beautiful and the chaise lounge chairs/towels were nice. On our first day, the beach attendant offered us a bottle of prosecco for 150.00 Euro. After we said no, he came back and said he could do it for 50.00. Didn’t expect negotiations on the beach menu. We would definitely chose a different resort next time.

The grounds were simply breathtaking. Its own private beaches with outstanding views. Quaint library room stocked with books, multiple cozy areas with plush couches all over the hotel where one can sit and relax, multiple dining areas, beautiful pools, delicious buffet breakfast, direct access to the marina walkway bringing you to multiple restaurants, cafes and shopping. The hotel hostess, Carla, is an absolute gem and catered to our every need. Alessandro took incredible care of us at breakfast and preempted our daily coffee and tea requests :) The rooms are fine, although brittle bed sheets and not great pillows but that would not deter me from returning. Even the chamber maids made sure we had what we needed and bent over backwards to accommodate. I absolutely loved my stay and look forward to a return visit.

Nice hotel, good sized rooms. Unfortunately some of its facilities were not operational such as the beach club, second (beachfront) restaurant). Air conditioning in the room did not work. Staff seemed functional but not particularly welcoming. Perhaps they felt it was the end of the season. Maybe they should fully function and then close rather than stay half open.

Would strongly recommend. A great stay.

Location and beach was amazing. The room was clean and very nice, but the property was very dirty and some areas looks like a third world country. There is a wedding party that had a DJ with loudspeakers that went on until 2:30 in the morning. I at least would’ve expected them to have a 11 PM sound limit or something like that. The food was fine, but was only limited to one restaurant as the other ones needed to be booked ahead of time and the other two were closed for private events. There’s a hole in the fence and you can go to another restaurant at a different resort if you’re looking for different food options. I’m guessing this resort just needs more cleaning staff

Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff are so friendly and warm. Particular thanks to Alessio who helped us speak to the airport when our bags had been lost and Barbara and Damiano in the restaurant were so lovely and helped us learn some more Italian. The rooms are big, very clean, so cool and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and the food great. Buffet breakfast was fab, as was the buffet dinner. Lunch is a la carte and kind of expensive for lunch but Sardinia is quite expensive, so it’s all relative. There is a path from the hotel to the beach which is beautiful and some sun loungers and parasols reserved for Hotel Marana (you just need tickets from reception) there are some nice beach bars but seem to only open in the day. There is a restaurant open in the evenings, Marinella, which is beautiful but very expensive. We were about to order the lobster tagliatelle which said €35 on the menu, but it was €35 per 100g and weighed 800g so it would have been €280 each for a plate of pasta which is a bit out of budget, ha! The cheapest bottle on the wine list is €70, lovely, but just be aware! The hotel is peaceful and the other guests were all really nice and polite and considerate. Taxis are limited and so expensive. You can walk to Punta Marana to eat but other than that need a taxi or the train from opposite the hotel but they stop at 6.30pm. Visit Porto Rotondo. It’s fabulous.
