Property was very clean and laid back. Food and drinks were great. Beach and water was perfect!

The resort is beautiful! The staff is amazing and so helpful. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The AC is blasting away. However, please make sure you bring bug spray along with you because the mosquitos out there will gang up on you. There are water sources all over the resort which doesn't help the mosquito situation. The gym is so nice! They also have a small cafe for coffee, ice cream/sorbet, pastries, and grab and go sandwiches. The food is good but wished there were more vegan/plant based options. Although they do have a plant based menu at all the restaurants, I found it limited and not always the best. there was one vegan dessert we got to try: the vegan red velvet was amazing! We made it work with other items that weren't necessarily on the plant based section in the buffet and those were very good. The room service options are limited for vegan/vegetarian folks. The vegan burger was not good at all. Overall, this is a really nice, small resort if you're looking for a romantic, elegant feel. So nice and would recommend to couples or anyone looking to reconnect. Would go back one day and hopefully more plant based options by then.

Beyond disappointed with this hotel. Everywhere you walked in that hotel, someone was trying to get $ from you. The pool was so dirty and I only saw someone attempt to clean it once. There was only 1 swim up bar for 3 pools. The food was subpar and they always ran out of something. Staff seemed bothered if you asked a question and they just didn't want to work. We had 2 cleaning ladies for the week and only 1 did her job (Mercedes). Brian at the front desk was awesome at explaining and showing us around. Winston and Nestor were awesome servers at the cabanas. The cabana furniture was dirty. The beach area was just a bunch of chairs too close together for such a small area. Though I appreciated being able to have your own speaker for music, the hotel let it be taken over by the locals who go. The so called entertainment was nothing but about 30 minutes. The spa had so many things that didn't work, it was a waste of time and $. The towels and sheets had stains even though they were clean. The room service had about 3 items on the menu. No liquor menu and they had the bare minimum to offer. The majority of swim out rooms were being "renovated" and you could see mattresses on top of eachother in unused rooms. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor would I go back.
