This resort is delightful. Many areas were redone since hurricane Ian in 2022. The hotel was extremely empty right before Labor Day so we basically had the whole resort to ourselves. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The spa was beautiful and Kristen gave me a wonderful facial and Gean (sp) provided a spectacular massage. Highly recommend this resort overall and the spa for sure. I will also remember how quiet early September is at this resort and the surrounding area.

Many amenities like restaurants/bars close during weekdays

Please ask for your room to be cleaned daily. It took me 4 days to get it done and even when it was done it was still dirty. Food in between the sheets. The management team came and they did an amazing job cleaning and rectified the problem. It was immaculate after. The food is not great. Especially Stretto. Very disappointed. Go into town. Walk the bridges. They do not have a shuttle. You have to uber or walk. Parking is free. We should have rented a car. Overall, I’m happy to have gotten away with my husband. Looking into properties in Punta Gorda. Go to the burger bar and the Celtic bar. Lainsley for seafood. The resort coffee shop is great. Use your passes for drinks there. Not just for the bar. And the shop is outrageous for items. A baseball hat was $90! Just research other properties or go with a group.
