Location is near the main railway station. Lots of younger men hanging around at night on the streets, don’t think I would book if I were a group of woman or single woman staying to be honest. Hotel was very good but bathroom was very compact. Room was cleaned daily which was great and it was not noisy considering there are two youth hostels nearby. I would book again.

10/10. Kind and helpful staff. Got our room ready early so we could nap after our flight. Fantastic food. Breakfast buffet was extensive with so many fresh choices. Massage and spa services were excellent. Ski shuttle to main Kitzbuhel gondola available- but the walk was so easy and beautiful - we preferred walking. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

We had a very nice stay at VAYA Achensee. The hotel is modern with good wellness and pool area, espacialy the outdoor natural water pool was great. Very friendly staff and good breakfast and dinner.

Absolutely loved this hotel and the location. Wonderful for families as well. Food was amazing, great views and helpful staff. Would love to return someday!

The hotel is essentially attached to the main train station, which is a super plus for daily travel and a bit of a minus in the evening where there are some shady characters on the street. The big minus for us was the fact that the bathroom is essentially entirely exposed to the room, with a sliding glass enclosure that does not block sound or sight. We had a superior room but barely any room around the bed so nothing gained from the supposed savings for not having physical walls for the bathroom. Hotel service is great, check in was super easy and fast. If we had to stay in Munich again, perhaps one of the other many hotels near the train station with real bathrooms a better option.

Loved the location and the staff. Room was clean and fine. Wished breakfast had been included as was every other hotel we visited our 2 week trip around Austria and Germany.

Beautiful hotel and good location. My only issue is that they didn’t have a little shuttle from the hotel to the bus loop that goes to Fussen. It was hard to roll our luggage that far (even a golf cart would have been helpful).
