Yes, it's pricey but consider the city and location. But you do get some value, which I did not consider: (1) free valet parking, (2) $80.00 breakfast voucher--breakfast was well above average, and (3) some drink vouchers--we forgot to use.
We got upgraded, which was nice. Room was large and view was impressive.
Staff was excellent.
We would stay here again.

A small lovely hotel right downtown. Service is gracious, the best in town. Bacchus, the hotel restaurant, serves delicious food - one of the best hollandaise in Vancouver on their bennies. The hotel feels like a bit of a flash back in time: personal touches, genuinely warm welcomes, and room service rolled in on a cart with a white table cloth. No to go containers here.
