The hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and furnishings newer. There are a lot of rooms so you could be placed far away from the elevator. For us that was not an issue but I could see it being so for others.

An old charming Inn. I liked the room, king with a river view. The ice machine outside the door was noisy at times. Staff was nice. The manager’s reception was a great feature. The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels by the bed. The staff was kind and accommodating. The breakfast is worth it so please make sure you have breakfast there every day. We had dinner once there and it was fresh and delicious.

Parking is very tricky. The garage is tight and some vehicles use two spots because they can’t fit. So every time we leave, we don’t know if we will get a spot when we go back. We paid extra for parking so we expect to park there but we ended up parking on the street. We also tried calling housekeeping ...

What a wonderful place to stay, especially with kids (my experience ). It’s magical & fun to explore & the staff is so lovely. Restaurants are incredibly hospitable & yummy. Highly recommend

The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. ...
