Cheap Flights from Santorini National Airport

Menu listed several items that were not available for purchase as they ran out or didn’t restock:)

I had a one hour stopover when transferring in Athens . Had to have a further security check when I had one already in Santorini . I suppose this is the policy but makes for a rushed transfer as worried I miss flight !

Thira Santorini airport is a shambles in low season. Actually checkin process was horrendous as I am Emerald and the hostess ushering travellers in or out of the departures area had no idea about anything. If we didnt push through despite her we would have been outside in the heat waiting in queues. There is no priority lane for security queue and no signage to where lounge is (there is none).

Santorini Airport is very small. Once you've checked in, go back out of the terminal and watch the planes land from one of the tavernas. Once your plane has arrived, go through security and passport control as late as you feel comfortable with. Loading buses and boarding takes time; not being cooped up inside took away the stress for me!
