"clean, close to station with nice walk on europlatz"

"This was 3 days free-time between an 11-day Globus bus tour from Vienna to Lucerne and a 7-day Avalon River cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. We’re so glad we decided to include Zurich and the Locke Am Platz into our plans. Our 3 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was good but lacked choices, our only (minor) complaint. Front staff helped us with every question including coming up with a universal plug that worked (I’d left mine behind at the previous hotel in Lucerne), and a convenient way for us to do our much-needed laundry. We are very appreciative of those 2 things in particular. Zurich was my favourite city of our trip. Loved both the lake and Old Town. We had wonderful meals in Old Town and everything was easy walking from the hotel. "

"Excellent location near train station and Old Town Center. The red-hatted welcoming team did act rather abruptly with us when we parked out front, but most of them are genuine and kind. This is a busy place but the room amenities are really excellent. A popular spot for Americans. "

"Safe, quiet area. Small room, but designed well with all needs considered. Comfortable beds. Small but very functional and well appointed bathroom. Nice lounge/bar! Would stay again. "
