The high-quality semi-detached holiday home called "Schilf-Idyll" extends over two floors and has a modern and friendly design. From the combined living and dining area, you can reach the terrace, where you can enjoy the glorious sunshine of Usedom. On cold days, you can warm up in the sauna and relax by the fireplace. The first bedroom has a cosy double box-spring bed, the second bedroom also has a double box-spring bed and a single bed (foldable). A filter coffee machine and a hairdryer are at your disposal. The two city bicycles, which guests of the holiday home can use free of charge, are perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Germany's second largest island offers kilometres of fine sandy beaches and plenty of unspoilt nature. You are surrounded by an extensive nature reserve with many animal and plant species and will find peace and relaxation as well as many leisure activities for the whole family. The fishing village of Kamminke with its small harbour, bathing beach and leisure and cultural activities is approx. 4 km away. Other seaside resorts on the island, golf courses, the Schlossberg, St Mary's Church and the Ostseetherme spa can be easily reached by car. The Achterland is a very interesting region due to its many sights and numerous lakes. The small airport of Usedom is close to the holiday village. Es ist abseits der Hauptverkehrsstraße sehr ruhig gelegen. Obwohl das Gelände dicht mit Ferienhäusern bebaut ist, ist es sehr ruhig. Auch von dem nahen kleinen Flughafen hört man nichts. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und es war auch sehr sauber. Empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug mit den Fahrrädern nach Kamminke. Zur Wahrheit gehört, dass man vom Objekt keinen direkten Zugang zum Wasser des Stettiner Haffs hat. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es praktisch keine. Die Bezeichnung „Fischerdorf“ sollte man deshalb nicht wörtlich nehmen. Bis zur Ostsee sind es mind. 10 bis 12 km, die wir dann mit dem Auto gefahren sind. Die Strecke ist aber auch mit dem Fahrrad zu schaffen. Alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und können das Haus für alle empfehlen, die etwas abseits auf der Insel Urlaub machen wollen. ##### Dirk S.
