In the district of Zer Bännu, 850 m from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, south facing position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine (extra), tumble dryer (extra). Supermarket 750 m, restaurant 350 m, bakery 850 m, bicycle rental 850 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestibrücke" 500 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 850 m. Mountain railway, ski rental 700 m, ski bus stop 500 m, ski school 1.1 km, children's ski school 1.1 km. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Taxis can drive to within 50 steps of the house. Really well equipped and organized: the Interhome team were great, very available and the apartment itself has great views (although the tree is now a bit bigger than in the listing photo!) and is well equipped. But... boy it takes some getting to - either a 15 mins walk or a 20.- taxi ride, then down steps, down an elevator, up steps, up an elevator... all to get to the front door! Ok if you're traveling light, but it's some effort if you dragging luggage and kids. So overall, if you're traveling light and are fit/mobile enough to bypass the elevators, take the stairs up and down and walk back and forth into town - this place is great. ##### James M. The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked with cooking equipment, and everything was very clean. There were a few things that surprised us, that could have been better. A family of 5 staying for 7 days needs more than one garbage bag for the kitchen, and no extras were provided. The architecture with the beams and wood trim and builtins was lovely. It had a real Swiss mountain feel and had every thing we needed. Weenjoyed our stay there very much.
