After a long 21hr journey we got to the hotel a few hours before check in time. Seeing that we were tired the hotel staff offered complimentary breakfast while they prepared our room. Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

We had our honeymoon at Meliá Zanzibar and had the best time. What we thought that really made the hotel exceptional was the service, staff, amenities (pools, beach), food and the grounds were all fantastic. We were made to feel very much at home. We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We can’t thank the staff at white paradise enough. We stayed for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and couldn’t have picked a better place. The food is unbelievable, all à la carte rather than your all inclusive buffet. The grounds and hotel itself are stunning, the staff are so welcoming and are always happy to help you. We’d like to thank Clara for always being on hand, as well as all of the bar/restaurant staff for accommodating all our needs, it was an unforgettable honeymoon.
