*AVOID AT ALL COST*
Apartments are separate to the main hotel. On a dark slip roads with cars driving past at speed.Multiple health,safety and security protocols not in place.No reception staff or duty manager at night. Only a security guard who is just there for decoration but doesn't know what to do if there is a problem arises.
We were given a Yale key to our room that did not work.We called reception and spoke to someone on3 different occasions who said they would send maintence to let us in the room(we have now returned from our trip and likely still no sign of maintenance).
Luckily housekeeper walked past and let us in the room where our luggage already was.
Returning from our evening out at 5am we went to reception to ask for a new key or to be let in the room.We found a security guard asleep on the sofa.
We explained and asked him to assist. With very limited English He said he could not help us he didn't have access to anything he
Was just security.No other staff were on site.We asked him to call a manger.He said he could not and someone would arrive for shift in 2hours time.we asked him to call the police. He refused.So we were left with no choice but to call the police. police arrived and said he had to call someone. He did and they arrived within 3 mins!
The hotel and apartments have NO Safety or security protocols in place. Putting customers at risk. This property should not be open to the public.major Incident waiting to happen!!! HSO required!!!
