I had a weekend booked here with my daughter. While waiting to board Eurostar I received a message saying to call them regarding my booking. (Why didnt you ring me) anyway I rang and was told there is a problem with our room and we can't stay and there are no more rooms available and someone will call in 5 minutes. No one rang. We still boarded our train and went straight to the hotel and was greeted by lady who was not very helpful, I don't speak French, she didn't speak English so had to use phone translated. Long story short someone got us another hotel but when we got there by uber saw that it was in middle of nowhere and miles from anything and more expensive and again had to use translation on phone to get a different hotel which we did finally, nearer to things with lovely staff. This hotel caused us so much stress and anxiety as we both are Autistic. Not professional at all.

I really liked the hotel location and amenities. It was really confident for my short stay in Lille. The front desk staff was super kind and welcoming. My only complaint is with the cleaning service. Basic etiquette was not followed and I felt harassed by them with how insistent they were on making up the room, even in the day of my checkout. It’s unclear to me why they are not aware which rooms are checking out that day because they acted surprised when I said that. I was suffering from jet lag and had return d to my room to take a short nap before checkout time. I had placed the do not disturb sign, and kept they would not stop knocking. Luckily I learned from the day before and manually locked my door or I’m sure they would have entered again despite me saying I’m in the room. I’m very irritated because unless it’s an emergency, there is no a reason to bang a door down because the guest is not responding and it’s before checkout out time. I think it’s a fair assumption someone could be sleeping or occupied! Anyway you can bet they were back knocking at 11:59am for 12:00pm checkout 💀

This is a really good hotel, just over an hour from Calais. Probably the best offer in 20 years of travelling this route. Great rooms, easy parking, helpful staff team.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice boutique type hotel - really nice theme running through hotel. Lovely old fashioned stair case with decorated themed landing on eac floor. Spacious, comfortable rooms with big bathroom including a bath. Comfortable beds. Breakfast very good. I felt very comfortable there. The location also perfect. Would definitely like to come back and stay again.

A shame the staff was unable to prepare a breakfast box for the day I checked out because I had to leave earlier to catch a train. Apart from that, very nice hotel.
