It is really an oasis. We were welcomed by Melissa the receptionist, she was so sweet, we were offered fruit, waffles and coffee free of charge. Our room was very big, nice bath, overlooking the front off the hotel. Strongly recommend this room! We had dinner at the hotel, food was also good.Since we had some trouble with a wrong booking after our visit in the Sun Moon Lake area, Melissa helped us change this and book flights to Penghu islands. As if this was not enough, she personally drove us in her own private car up to visit the lake the next day. She also wanted us to call her for the return, which we did not, it felt as way too much to receive. There are a number of hotels up at the lake, but we are so happy we did not choose to stay there, it is quite crowded and noisy, much better to hear birds singing in the morning than scooters and buses. Great garden, nice & comfortable rooms, and great great hospitality of owner and staff. Swimming pool is great enough for family swimming. It is just 10 mins walk from near-by small town, where you can have good local food and there are two convenience store. It would be more convenient if you have a car to hit the tourist spot! They have staff who can communicate in English too. Great place for family relax stay.
