"The property is brand new and is kept immaculate! The bed is super comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and the pool area is spacious, private and has a beautiful tree top view where you get the sun all day. We loved sitting out on the terrace for breakfast in the morning.The shower is lovely and powerful and there’s plenty of storage space.Yes, the hill to get up is a nightmare - doable in a fiat500 but be prepared for multiple 3-point turns, konking out half way and getting the revs up! Once it’s mastered it’s fine. Location wise - a 12 min walk to the Harbour which is absolutely doable on foot, even in the dark on the way home. Lakka is a beautiful little port, it’s straight out of a film set! And a short drive to other beaches (our favourite was Manadendri), the restaurants on the road at the top of the hill are not to be missed.The villa was a great base for the two of us on our honeymoon for 6 days. It lacks a little bit of charm and personal touch but I suspect this is just because it is new. It was a nice treat to have the cleaning service too. Would recommend and would stay again!"

"I almost wanted to give only one star for the description as the pictures online did not do Dimitri's cottage justice - in fact we thought we had gone into the wrong property- but not in a bad way - quite the opposite- the villa has been fully renovated to a very high standard and the photos had not yet been updated - it was furnished very stylishly and is extremely well equipped- the kitchen has absolutely everything you may need and there were very lovely personal touches including different coffees, teas etc & in the bathroom spare sanitary items, safety pins & plasters should they be needed. The air conditioning & pool was a god send in the hot weather & the outside area is traditional, private & beautiful! We absolutely loved our quiet stay here as a family of four with two teenage boys. (The property was listed as just one bathroom but there were two)! Check in was so smooth & the host agreed to a much later check out time which was the cherry on the cake after a wonderful stay on Paxos :) we had a car - the nearest village is walkable however i am fairly fit and would not fancy walking back up the steep hills in the heat with bags of groceries- plenty of parking at Dimitris"

"A beautiful, calm property. A perfect base to explore this beautiful island. Ideally need a car to get to and from Lakka as hill is quite steep but that’s a small price to pay to stay in what feels like a rural beauty. Feels very Provençal / Tuscan. The staff were EXCELLENT. Anna, the hotel manager gave us a full list of recommended restaurants, beaches and towns. We went to every one and they were exceptional. Right on point. The guys who served us our beautiful breakfast each morning were so lovely. Polite, remembered what we liked and so friendly. We love to travel and we’ll alway hold gorgeous memories of Paxos."

"The villa is exactly as described - beautifully designed, well equipped, very clean and very comfy bed! It is in a beautiful quiet location with fabulous views and about a 15/20 minute walk into Lakka which we did every day. Lakka is a port with lovely shops and lots of cafes/restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. Absolutely loved our stay at the villa and exploring the island. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you!"
