    This is not a bad little apartment, but at (the rate we were charged per night) it is WAY too expensive for what it offers. The number that is listed as the “average” rate would be better, but still pricey. The photos, which were likely taken some years ago, make it seem bigger than it is. This is a TINY apartment, underneath a larger house that needs new paint etc. The walls are thin, so you hear everything going on upstairs. The TV upstairs is apparently located directly above the bed downstairs, making it hard to sleep if upstairs is occupied. We woke up when our neighbors got up at 5 am - it was loud like they were in our kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, it was not well-equipped when we arrived: only a couple pots/pans, no lids, main pan was a scratched up Teflon pan that no one should use (Teflon is highly toxic if you get it in your food). The other small pan was dirty, I had to scrub it before using. There were just a few cups, bowls, and plates, none of them matching. If you stay here, you likely will not hang out, you’ll just sleep here and eat breakfast. Parking is very limited. We addressed all of these issues with the owner, and she refused to refund to an amount which would be more appropriate for the offering. On the positive side, the apartment was clean and warm and had hot water, and it is in a nice neighborhood close to Yosemite Valley. In summary, it is a fine place for sleeping between Yosemite adventures - at the right price. At the rate we were charged, it feels like price gouging, especially off-season.…

    The house is nestled in between old growth pine trees with a beautiful expensive view of the Yosemite’s wooded mountains. Well decorated inside with all the amenities we needed. Very clean and newly renovated with fully stocked kitchen. My kids had great time and each had their own private bedroom with fresh clean linen and bedding . My favorite was the master bath shower with surprisingly high pressure jets and double sink with ample supply of heavy weight bath towels. Also enjoyed the recliner lazy boy chairs in front of the wide screen HD TV with DISH connection, and the well functioning fireplace. Even though there was no ATT cell reception the WIFI provided by the house was adequate for doing Zoom meeting and WiFi calling. We also had a great time just hiking down the hill from the house on the fire road exploring the different trees and the views of the area.…
