Inside, there is a fully stocked kitchen, dining table that seats 8, large living room, Dish satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi, and a lovely, stone, wood-burning fireplace. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms: a Queen; a second Queen with ensuite bathroom (shower); and a third with two Queens. There are also two hallway bathrooms, one with a tub, one with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, gas oven/stove, and dual Keurig coffeemaker (pot and pods). The central hallway has a library full of books and an armoire with games. Upstairs there is a one-bedroom with two plush queen beds, and a pull-out queen sofa sleeper, and a TV. beds. French doors open from the living area to a small balcony. There is a full bathroom with two basins, a steam shower, and a whirlpool tub. Outside, this home has a very large deck, much of it covered, with a gas BBQ, and a 6-person outdoor jacuzzi. Parking is ample. This is a smoke-free, pet-free home. Starlight Lodge has located just steps from the charming, locally owned, Pine Tree Market. Approximately 50 minutes from the valley floor, it is located in a quiet neighborhood a half a mile from the Wawona Hotel. The house was roomy and clean, with a comfortable great room we used for games and conversation. Each of the 4 bedrooms had its own bathroom - which was a big plus. One of the bedrooms was upstairs, the others were downstairs. The fireplace was perfect for early the early May nights, and there is a convenient small grocery store a 5 minute walk down the road. We would definitely recommend this for a larger group that doesn't mind the trek into the valley. Plenty of parking for the 4 couples.
