This comfortable family friend home situated 5 miles from Yosemite's South Gate will welcome you with the warmth of wood accents, large windows providing forest views, a large updated kitchen that opens into a dining and living space and thoughtfully well-spaced bedrooms including a master bedroom with en suite bath and a kids room with bunk beds. More than 1000 sq ft of decking provides ample space to relax outdoors in the summer or to build a snowman in the winter. Enjoy a hike to the river or Chilnualna Falls; visit the Wawona library and historic pioneer town, have dinner at the nearby Big Trees hotel and golf course. Being insideYosemite National Park, you have so much more to enjoy -- The Valley Floor, Glacier Point (within 45 minutes drive), Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area (within 30-35 minutes drive), and Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias (reopening 2017). The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second room has a twin over twin and a twin over full futon bunk bed, there is a TV with Direct TV satellite and a DVD player. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own private bathroom. The living room hosts a large LED TV with Direct TV. Enjoy a BBQ on the large deck, we provide the propane. There's a grocery store just a few minutes walk. The only downside for us was the master bedroom was a bit too chilly. It'd be perfect for summer tho.
