The elegant interior is beautifully finished, featuring a stunning balcony with a great view, modern furnishings and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay in the city. Fresh towels, linens and essentials are provided at the beginning of your stay. There is a Smart TV with Netflix and free internet. The Space: This modern and stylish flat has been finished to a very high standard and features comfortable furnishings, modern fixtures and fittings. The floor to ceiling windows let natural light shine through the flat. The open plan living space features a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need to get creative with cooking from home, stylish sofas and SMART TV. You can also make use of the balcony - the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine! There is high speed broadband throughout the apartment. The spacious bedrooms features a comfortable bed with crisp hotel linen, full length window and storage space for clothes. The modern bathroom has a shower with bath, toilet and sink as well as complimentary toiletries and fresh towels for your use. Guests also benefit from access to the communal gym in the building opposite. The building is very safe, with a dedicated concierge and 24/7 CCTV in communal areas. The Neighborhood: Located in the heart of York, it's just a 5 minute walk to the city centre, where you will find an array of shops, bars, restauants and historical attractions. York Minster, the largest gothic cathedral in Northern Europe and the Jorvik Viking Centre are just a 10 minute walk away, whilst York Castle Museum can be reached in just 20 minutes on foot. You are also well placed to access the historic city walls, which you can walk around and get the best view of the city free of charge. There's also an Asda and a large Morrisions supermarket just around the corner from the apartment. Getting Around: Being so centrally located, most areas of the city are easily explored on foot. Should you wish to rest your legs there are bus routes that service the nearby main road, and local taxi services. The main York Train Station, with links to other UK cities, is around a 25 minute walk away, or a short taxi ride. Other Things to Note: The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics that you will need during your stay. Hairdryer, vacuum, iron and ironing board are available. We were able to leave our car untouched for 2 days while we walked all over York. 6 minute walk to a wall gate and 12 to Shambles. Apartment was roomy and well laid out. One bed was very comfy and soft while the other was quite hard. Bathrooms were well lit and clean. Washer and dryer was a plus ##### James H. We were allocated a parking bay for our sole use but on our second day this space was occupied by another party who were told to park there by a representative of My Holiday Host. I reported this to the Site Manager but this situation was not rectified leaving me without a designated parking bay.
