Find Dog-Friendly Hotels in York

In York, the best area to stay for pet-friendly hotels is generally within the town centre and its immediate surroundings.

The town centre is the heart of York, Western Australia, characterised by its historic buildings, wide main street (Avon Terrace), and the Avon River running nearby. You'll find most of the town's amenities here, including shops, cafes, and local attractions like the York Town Hall. Its compact nature means everything is usually within a short walk.

Couples travelling with their pets will find staying in the town centre convenient. Many establishments in this area are accustomed to guests with well-behaved animals, often offering designated pet-friendly rooms or areas. This allows easy access to walking paths along the Avon River for morning strolls with your dog, and you're close to eateries that might offer outdoor seating where pets are welcome.

For those seeking a slightly quieter stay but still wanting pet-friendly options, properties just a little outside the main high street, perhaps on the residential streets leading off Avon Terrace, can be a good choice.
