I didn’t receive an email beforehand with details of how to obtain key to the property, after reaching out i did get it just in time for our arrival. The cottage was plenty big enough for 4 of us but we found that the cleanliness was not up to our standards. Plenty of dust on all skirting boards behind beds etc, the sofas were really uncomfortable & sagging & there was not enough hot water for us all to have a shower in the mornings, let alone a bath! It lacked extras such as an extra t towel & a hand towel in the kitchen, more coasters, a hook on the bathroom door as there is nowhere to put anything? The skylight window & wall on the landing was filthy & clothes from a previous occupant was found in drawers so these hadn’t been checked in previous occupancy. Not sure if the owner is aware but the draught coming from the kitchen window was bad! A blind at the kitchen door would be good too for privacy!
