It was hard to believe we were only 5 minutes walk across the bridge to the centre of York. The house was very clean and modernised inside with all we needed for an excellent break. Simple and comfortable little place in a really excellent location for exploring York on foot. Free parking outside property in quiet no through road despite its location was a real plus. Decor is modern and neutral The outside garden/courtyard area however is nothing more than a small narrow strip adjoining the kitchen and bathroom presumably all that's left after extending into the once garden, it was nice to be able to open the door to this area to let the fresh air in but its not a place to enjoyably sit out in really. 3 or 4 min walk to a supermarket for provisions. ##### Rosemary D.
