We loved the furnishings throughout and the quiet. We did find the bed very hard though but that might be down to personal preference rather than a fault. One thing that was not in the instruction folder is that there is a boiling hot water tap and how to use it. We did enjoy the walk in to town each day, although there is a very good bus service if you prefer. All in all, we enjoyed our four nights stay and found it well worth the money. There is a park at back and the race course opposite. Buses into York centre are frequent and take just a couple of minutes. The apartment is stylish and well equipped, but we would have liked a microwave. It’s quiet and private. Stays were very helpful when we had a problem with the keys.
