We've just returned from a lovely week spent at The Old Bike Store in York. The cottage was so nice, exceptionally clean, well appointed, smug and warm and ideally placed for a short walk into the city centre. We received an email from our friendly hosts before we arrived, which contained lots of helpful information concerning travel directions, parking advice and contact details should we need any further assistance. Whilst it was still chilly outside, the wonderful underfloor heating meant we kept warm indoors. There were lots of small grocery shops nearby along with various takeaways, so we were spoilt for choice.
