We stayed here while visiting a family member in a local nursing home, and overall, it served our needs well. The host was thoughtful and provided many amenities, including snacks, some complimentary food items, and essentials such as a hair dryer, which we appreciated.The beds were generally comfortable, although one mattress was a bit lumpy. We also experienced ongoing issues with one of the toilets, which did not function properly even after a plumber visited during our stay. In addition, one of the TVs was not working.Future guests should be aware that there are quite a few steps, which was not clearly advertised in the listing. This could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns.The house rules were fair and reasonable, and communication with the host was positive. The décor was eclectic and somewhat mismatched, but that is largely a matter of personal taste.One limitation for our group was that there was only one full bathroom, which meant everyone had to share the sink, toilet, and bathtub.Overall, the property was a comfortable place to stay and provided a convenient location for our visit. While we appreciated the hospitality and amenities, we felt the price was somewhat high considering the maintenance issues and limitations we encountered. Nonetheless, it was a good place to rest and served its purpose well during a difficult and important family visit.
