They still have smoking rooms so dont make the mistake of booking one like me. Whole room smelled like smoke, but it was pretty clean. The windows weren't completely sound proof. Breakfast was pretty good for an economy place. Nice selection for rice balls, few sides, soups and small selection of breads and juice. There are also shopping streets and department stores nearby, making it ideal for a shopping itinerary. The hotel is newly built and close to the railway, but the train noise at night is acceptable. There are izakayas (Japanese pubs) around, so lower floors might hear some noise from nighttime crowds. My room was on the 2nd floor, but I didn’t mind the sounds at all.
