"Kitchen had everything we needed for reheating our frozen meals we had brought. The basement bathroom floor was heated which was a nice surprise being it was cold. Sitting on the porch was a beautiful sight to behold. I would recommend putting labels on all light switches on the main floor. "

"We’ve been coming to Holmes Co. for nearly 20 years. We usually stay in hotels, this was only our second rental experience. It was wonderful having seclusion, whilst still being just 10 minutes from the center of it all. My kids are 14, 13, and 10. I wish we’d stayed here when they were younger and could enjoy all the fun backyard things! We did still enjoy an evening fire, and I loved sitting out listening to the birds. The donkey and ponies were our favorite thing. We loved feeding them carrots and just watching them eat their hay. The house was clean and spacious. The dessert left for us was yummy. Thank you! I loved being able to keep up on laundry during our stay. We couldn’t figure out how to work the fireplace but the gas heat was plenty for the chilly nights. My teens loved having their own bedrooms upstairs. I do think some consideration should be given to the king mattress being replaced. It dips a bit in the middle. Overall it’s a great stay for families and is decorated lovely. I especially loved the sign above the fireplace. I hope we get to come back again soon! "

"Very Clean! Great location!Although, A/C was listed, there was none and it’s started getting hot. Turned on the fans and that helped. Reached out to just and got an Auto bot response. Bring your own pans to cook in. Teflon ones are super scratched. Glad I brought a cast iron. Other than that, it was perfect. Love this place!"
