#### Waterfalls and light shows adorn the various plazas of this large and eclectic park in the centre of the Yeouido political hub.

Embellishing the political center of Seoul are the leafy and colorful grounds of Yeouido Hangang Park. Alive with activity, the park features all types of festivals, concerts and other events. Make your way through the ecological exhibits to learn about the wildlife and plants of the region.

Stroll along the banks of the Han River and enjoy the views of the water. Let your kids frolic in the water playground, which has fountain jets and a shallow pool section.

The park also has a bike rental area, with a range of brightly colored bicycles. Cycle to a secluded grassy spot and bring supplies for a picnic.

Practice your swing at the golf range and play soccer with friends on the multi-purpose sports field. Make the most of a hot, sunny afternoon in summer by taking a dip in the outdoor pool. Bring the whole family inline skating on the track.

One of the most iconic attractions in the park is the set of large letters that spell out I Seoul U. Snap photos of your friends standing next to this famous sculpture.

Attend one of the many events held in this park, including the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festivalin spring and October’s Seoul World Fireworks Festival. You can also attend a concert held on the Floating Stage.

Yeouido Hangang Park is in the Yeongdeungpo-gu district in the southwestern corner of Seoul. Ride the train to the Yeouido train station or take a bus to the Yeouido Transfer Center and walk northeast for a few minutes to reach the park. You can also drive and leave your car in one of the five parking lots. Note that the park is open to the public at all times and is free to enter.

While in this part of the city, check out Mulbit Square, the National Assembly of South Korea and the towering 63 Building.
