Yeongam Vacation Packages
Yeongam is situated 190 miles (306 kilometers) south of Seoul, the country's capital, and approximately 90 miles (145 kilometers) north of Jeju Island.
Even though South Jeolla is off the main tourist trail, there are still plenty of things to discover around Yeongam. Mokpo, is 17 miles (27 kilometers) to the east. Take the trip there to see the Korean International Circuit and Wolchulsan National Park.
When you are ready to venture further afield check out the nearest regional area. Gwangju is approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) away and is home to sights like Naejangsan National Park, Gwangju National Museum and Guus Hiddink Stadium. Gwangju has a lot to offer those keen to stay for a day or two. Mudeungsan Provincial Park and Gwangju Art and Culture Center are just a couple of the other points of interest not to miss.
A useful technique to really get a sense of a place and its people is by learning about its history. While in South Jeolla, be sure to visit the area's historic fortresses. Houses of worship are often the best doorways into a community's heart and soul. The temples of South Jeolla are no exception.

When the time comes to say farewell to Yeongam, head to the nearest major airport located in Mokpo, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northwest.
