"With Cruise ships blighting Lerwick, this country hotel overlooking the sea was a good find. a very individual inn, not quirky but functional. Showing it's age just a tad but would certainly say that it is good value for money (includes a cooked breakfast). Great location for visiting the northern islands of Yell and Unst as well as Scalloway and North Mavine. Roads on Shetland, especially the A Roads are well engineered and maintained so you can get everywhere on Mainland in an hour from here if you have hire car."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Bordanoost. The property is very nice and the location and view are absolutely wonderful.The host was also very efficient in solving an issue with the dishwasher during our stay."
