Colorado Mountain Retreat - Spacious Cabin with Hot tub

"If you’re looking for a private cabin for a relaxing & romantic stay I highly recommend this cabin. The neighborhood is super quiet with a private rap around deck with a newer hot tube. Great lighting. This cabin is big enough for the entire family. The beds were comfortable. If you prefer to cook the kitchen was well stocked with needed utensils. Amazing Columbian coffee, Air fryer & pressure cooker. The rental came with 2 fishing passes for multiple lakes within walking distance. We caught multiple fish each day. I threw them back, you did have the option. St Mary’s glacier trailhead is within walking distance. You are within 20 minutes of the casinos in black hawk. You have white water rafting, zip lines, & MT blue hike in Idaho springs. There is also now a side by side rental spot up near the cabin 250 a day which is very reasonable compared to other places. We rode the Argo mine lift and ate at the top. They had several mountain bike trails down. Some extreme, some easier. There are multiple 14,000 plus elevation hikes within a hour drive. (Touch the clouds hike) Honestly I could go on and on. I have traveled to Idaho springs multiple times and I keep finding more and more activities for the next visit. This cabin was amazing, private, & modern. The host Gina was great, truly felt like they genuinely cared about our stay. I don’t have 1 negative thing to say. Amazing stay at an amazing cabin. If you’re looking for activities there are multiple magazines in kitchen."

"This cabin is beyond beautiful. The decorations. The bed was so comfy. The bathrooms were clean and main one has a heat lamp. The lighting. The scenery was spectacular. We seen lots ok mule deer. You can tell these hosts really want you to enjoy the cabin. 10 out of 10 for sure."

St. Mary's mountain retreat with hot tub - sleeps 10

"A very cozy cabin. Has some heated floors throughout, a wood burning stove and a great kitchen for a big crowd. Kids enjoyed the dartboard and foosball table. We came at peak time for the Aspens so weather was good, but if it were snow or ice the walk to the cabin down the steps would be treacherous! It is also noted you are over 10,000 ft so come hydrated! We suffered a bit of elevation sickness with slight headaches but wasn't terrible. We even stayed at 5500 elevation the night before. We were a bit disappointed with the hot tub. It was very cloudy and jets were not strong at all. Being that I rented the cabin especially for the hot tub that was very much a disappointment. We also didn't have a working dryer while we were there that definitely put a damper on things, but no fault of owners. We enjoyed the coffee shop right down the street and a nearby hike to a lake. We even saw 3 moose across the street from the coffee shop! The Mountain View's were beautiful and host was responsive."

"No connectivity on our Verizon phones. WiFi went down during stay and had to drive an hour roundtrip to connect with VRBO and host. We could have rebooted the WiFi had we known where the router was. We also had a hard time with the thermostat. Incomplete instructions in home folder. Host was very apologetic and we did get things straightened around. But all could have been avoided."

"This property is truly a Colorado mountain retreat at 10,300 ft elevation! It is ideally located to enjoy both Denver and Colorado Springs via I-70. The house was a great place for a family siblings Colorado reunion trip! The modern designed house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Idaho Springs was convent for groceries or grabbing dinner and a beer. We completed our full sightseeing bucket-list vacation and topped off the trip with a John Fogerty concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Enjoyed our stay!!!"
