I renovated this chalet for my children and for my hosts, who fell in love with this exceptional place with its "Cabane au Canada" atmosphere, its river and its proximity to the lake. Beach 10 mins walk.

This charming chalet is the ideal place to relax in a welcoming nature far from noise and pollution. You are in the heart of the Hautes Vosges and its forest. No other opposite than an old farm on the other side of the valley. The hinds come to drink in the Belbriette at the foot of the chalet and you will be lulled by the sound of this torrent where you can cool off and fish for trout in summer.
You are only 5km from Gérardmer, the pearl of the Vosges, where you will find everything you will need. Locally in Xonrupt, there is a bakery, excellent Alsatian caterer, grocery store, pharmacy, post office, ATM, and of course, restaurants. Les Jardins de Sophie, the luxury hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant in Xonrupt-Longemer is 500 meters away on foot in the forest.
In winter, the ski resorts are less than 10 km away: La Bresse Hohneck, Lispach or Gérardmer, and the small local piste of Poli, ideal for beginners and children, is 5 minutes away.
In summer, the Longemer lake 10 minutes away on foot allows swimming and canoeing, unless you prefer to go to Gérardmer for its various nautical activities. And the Belbriette in the garden is a very pleasant option for sunbathing and cooling off.
The area is full of hikes from the chalet, on foot or with snowshoes / cross-country skiing in winter. The ridges and their farm inns are very close, Alsace and its typical wine-growing villages are to be discovered within 30 km.
If the weather is not there, the chalet offers a fireside atmosphere, with large screen TV, DVD player, Hamman for relaxation.

The cozy living room has 2 3-seater sofas, 1 of which converts into a comfortable double bed. With 1 armchair and stools, the living room accommodates 10/12 people.
The 4 bedrooms have new bedding (quality mattresses, duvets and pillows) and are covered with wood and fabrics. Linvosges linens are provided (percale sheets and bath towels)
