"The ladies running the place were delightful. We were a little lost finding it in the dark after a long days riding. They held dinner open for us which was a relief and nice. The Poole was clean and cool. The grounds were immaculate with peacock and hen walking around. The rooms were large and comfortable, aged but neat and tidy. Delightful place allround. "

"My room is nice although some of them don’t have windows that can be opened. When I extended for two days, they threatened to move me unless I paid extra for a tiny balcony even though it looked identical in the picture when I booked so I chose to let them move me. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this is the first for that to happen especially in a half empty hotel. The swimming pool is big, but quite cold and rarely used. The breakfast Buffett is one of the best I’ve had in Vietnam. Lots of the staff speak English so that’s a big plus. Also, the biggest king bed I think I have ever seen."

"This is a fantastic hotel. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. I stayed for 3 weeks. I had very few issues and they were taken care of immediately. I’m planning on returning in December and will definitely stay there again. Housekeeping staff was amazing!!!!"

"From the cleaning staff to the guys at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The room was decent for the money paid. But the strong scent of cigarette smoke odor was pervasive throughout the building. The cigarette smoke bothered me because I have breathing condition, asthma. The elevator and stairs should be cleaner. "
