"Room was fine but had not been well cleaned. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff were very good, particularly breakfast staff, and the girl at check in was very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay again."

"Beautiful hotel with a lot of history. I stayed in a room with the bathroom down the hall. I was surprised to find I still had my own bathroom, with a locked door, in what I would call a suite of bathrooms. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful."

Most importantly the host was very understandable and accommodating our special request- we mistakenly booked the stay with a wrong check in and check out date but the host responded quickly and kindly arranged our stay. "This place is ideally located across from the train station and close to shops, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom cleaned daily. The bed had an electric blanket on it which would be great in winter, though I made use of a lighter blanket that was available instead as I am a hot sleeper. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no aircon in the bedrooms while there is everywhere else - though a fan was provided, it didn't really do much."

"Nostalgia at its best. This is an authentic old inn, so if you are looking for the Marriott this is not for you. Excellent views of the mountains, all the staff were fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time with Alan, the piano player. Happy hour piano bar, doesn’t get much better. Oh yea, it’s close to all those trails too. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was exceptionally clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more, and incredibly cozy. The amenities truly elevated the experience, making it feel both comfortable and effortless. The location is outstanding, with easy walking access to town as well as the stunning Blue Mountains National Park. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again."

"A lovely hotel to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cosy. Staff were amazing especially when our Gas fireplace was not working, they went out of there way to get it fix which at the end they just gave us another room with a fireplace working That’s what we call customer service."
