The positives: The property is conveniently located next to the main train station and is within 10 minute walking to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. The rooms are clean but basic. The breakfast is very good.
The negatives: I don’t think that this is a 4 star hotel. It does not have a pool, a spa, a gym, or any of the typical amenities you expect in a 4 star hotel. The location of the hotel is in the red-light district. There are strip clubs within a block. I saw 2 separate police arrests and 1 fight, and many beggars on the street on which the hotel is. We did not enjoy this aspect of it. We did not feel safe walking on the street in the evening. You have to walk for 5 minutes out of the area before things change dramatically. The staff friendliness was hit and miss. Some were nice but most were very cold and not helpful. Parking is in a nearby facility and they have a deal with it. However, they don’t tell you about it even if you ask. You need to know to ask for the specific plastic card that gets you access.
Conclusion: While the location is convenient, the negatives take away from the experience. I would not come back.
