The manager worked with us to find another room. It is evident that some room remodeling has been taking place, but some of the painting still needed to be finished. Housekeeping is average. We felt the room cost was a fair value. The location is close to the center of town and offered easy access to restaurants and shopping. No breakfast as was advertised on hotels.com. Gave great advice about places to visit, etc. The property is in the process of being renovated so it is a bit of a "diamond in the rough" right now but don't pass it by. Our room was very clean and there is free wi-fi. It's in a great location, very safe and convenient to many things. The continental breakfast was an extremely pleasant surprise!!!! Fresh and delicious, lots of choices. Good location, but Thermopolis is small so all the locations are good. The front desk clerk was friendly, but we did not receive any maid service, there was only one light in our room so it was very dark. The king sized bed was comfortable with an array of pillows and wonderful sheets. My only issues i had was that the fridge in the room did not work but the TV worked fine as did the microwave. The staff were pleasant and treated you like family. Expedia's customer service sucked getting our reservation to the hotel. So therefore we did not get the room that we had reserved.
