Great stay in Woodstock. Hosts were very attentive and the property was in good shape. Easy walk to downtown and nice gathering spots throughout the house.
Home sits right next to a beautiful pond. Sitting on the deck at sunset was perfect. A short walk to the center of town as well as some great hiking trails. Working with Jason was so easy and he went above and beyond.
Our family had a wonderful week. Location is great and within walking distance of the village shops and restaurants. Communication with Jason was very good. He responded to all of our questions. Our only disappointment was in not being able to use the fireplace which was mentioned as one of the amenities of the house.

This was an outstanding property in a beautiful location. Jason was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house is beautiful, with amazing views and within walking distance of Woodstock.
We were lucky enough to have a White Christmas, which was spectacular.
Amazing property- I would love to stay here again.
Jason’s place is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with him, the house, the neighborhood and town. No complaints. We’d recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.
Ideal location, tasteful decor, so comfortable, great host
Can't get a better Woodstock location! We had the perfect family vacation at this spotless, nicely decorated, comfy home. The host is considerate, responsive and just lovely to deal with. And there is A/C -- hooray!
Or as simon Crowell says. “I loved it”. Great place. 10 min walk to town, 29 min ride to Pomfret (a great drive and a very old original public library ) in addition to a spectacular 45 minute fall foliage drive to weston (vermont country store). Wow. Great newly decorated house.
From the minute we walked in we felt warm and cozy and excited to have made such a wonderful find. The house has absolutely everything you could want. Including a real Christmas tree that the owners put up especially for us. The house is decorated beautifully, and our favorite spot was the cute eat in kitchen area that overlooked the woods and the pond. When my granddaughter would take an afternoon nap my daughter and I would have a hot toddie and read and needlepoint. Our hearts could not have been happier. We were about two blocks from the main street of town where there was great shopping and dining. If you're going during a busy time, make reservations before you go as restaurants fill up fast. The men in our family went skiing one day and declared Killington to be bigger than our favorite places in CO or UT. We also took our 16-month granddaughter sledding one day and we all laughed so hard as Texans really do not know how to sled. But we learned fast. All in all, we had the best time just being a family and enjoying our time together. I would stay her again a million times over.
We were lucky enough to get to stay at this property during the peak foliage season. Everything we encountered was top-notch. From the property cleanliness and its decor to the location. As advertised, it is right behind the Woodstock Inn so an easy walk into town and very close to the the Mount Peg hiking trail. The house has a large side porch which overlooks a small pond so you get peace & quiet while still having the convenience of being close to everything Woodstock has to offer. Lastly, the hosts were amazing with their communication to make sure everything was in order for our stay as well as the generous gift basket they had waiting upon our arrival. I have been using VRBO for many years now and this was my best experience to date. Thanks for such a great stay!
