The smoke detector was clearly not operational and was hanging from the ceiling only connected on one side. The bellman’s cart had flat tires. The bathroom had burn marks on the counter and caulk was peeling from the seams in the counter with crud crusted in the gaps. "

The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. Don't book a lake view or anything on the first floor, since the window louvers (no curtains) aren't private. The general impression is that this is a budget hotel. OK for a brief stay. "
