Hi there, First of all, thanks so much for taking the time to review your recent stay. Your feedback is priceless to us as guest experience is at the heart of everything we do! We feel very lucky to have such a charming and historic building to call home. We have tried to compliment and restore this charm with features throughout the hotel that honour the many stories that were formed here. The original window frames are a part of this, and reflect the olde world feeling of our 16th century Inn. We accept that there are 21st century alternatives that may be more functional, but wanted to stay true to the building and all it's quirks! We take on board your comments on breakfast and these have been fed back to our kitchen team. We want to provide something for everyone and have a wide selection of breakfast options at different price points. As we move in to Summer we will look to develop our menu further using feedback from our guests. We are glad you were able to enjoy your surroundings though and make the most of what South Leigh has to offer. We would love to see you again in Oxford or at one of our sister sites in Brighton, London, Penzance or the much anticipated Bristol site which will open in a few months. Dear Geoff, I'm thrilled your stay was a success. We are indeed looking to rectify the intermittent wifi in the shepherd's hut so I am sorry you experienced some difficulties here. Likewise we are increasing the menu and evolving it into something slightly more wider ranging as of next week and offering a greater selection of dishes.
