  • Welcome to the Kastanienhof: enjoy the vast fields and nature in abundance! Take long walks or simply relax on the 6,000-square-meter property.

    Nestled among fields, the Kastanienhof is located on the so-called Lagedeich. Enjoy the open spaces and country life. The nearest shopping and bakeries are in Schwabstedt (about 3.5 km away). Husum, with its idyllic harbour, cafés, and restaurants, is 12 km away, while St. Peter-Ording, with its long, stretches of sandy beach, is 45 km away.


    Amenities The apartment for two people spans two floors: in the spacious living area, you’ll find a cosy sitting area with a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The open kitchenette is equipped with a 2-burner stove, a microwave, a Nespresso machine, and a coffee maker (filter size 4). The shower room on the ground floor rounds out the space.
    An open staircase leads to the bedroom on the upper floor, which features a double bed (180 x 200).
    On the fenced-in terrace, you can relax and unwind at the end of the day on the patio furniture.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Es ist perfekt für zwei Personen mit Hund – besonders praktisch war der kleine Garten auf der Rückseite, den wir direkt nutzen konnten. Die Ausstattung ist durchdacht, sogar eine Waschmaschine und ein eigener Parkplatz stehen zur Verfügung. Das Haus eignet sich ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in Nordfriesland – wir waren in Husum, Friedrichstadt und St. Peter-Ording unterwegs. So konnten wir viel erleben und hatten dennoch immer einen entspannten Rückzugsort, fern vom stressigen Alltag. Einziger kleiner Punkt war die leichte Feuchtigkeit im Haus, aber dafür wurde bereits vorgesorgt, sodass es insgesamt kein Problem war. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt – ruhig, praktisch gelegen und absolut empfehlenswert.

Eine eindrucksvoll und sehr gepflegte Anlage. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön und wir werden wiederkommen, beim nächsten Mal haben wir die FeWo „Holunder“ im Auge. Interessante, persönliche und ganz entspannte Gespräche mit dem Eigentümer und Gärtner geführt, wir haben uns Willkommen gefühlt. :-)

Liebevoll eingerichtet, gute Ausstattung, ruhige Lage, Erholung pur. Den ganzen Garten konnte man in Beschlag nehmen. Überall waren Rückzugsmöglichkeiten geschaffen mit Sitzgruppen, Liegestühle, auch Hängesessel standen zur Verfügung, Tolle Gastgeber auf dem Kastanienhof !!
