Open floor plan, gas fireplace, DISH Network and SmartTV with all your favorite apps, wireless internet, full cabinet of games and puzzles. Laundry room with European ski boot dryer/warmer. Prime Winthrop location on the ski trail and walking path to town of Winthrop, Methow Trails headquarters and groomed track, grocery store, new library (with charging station) right down the street, a stone's throw to the Barnyard Cinema, Arrowleaf Bistro and more! Situated on a quiet loop road with lovely views of Studhorse Mountain from the kitchen and birch and aspen trees out the back. Enjoy the dark sky offering a blanket of stars. Leave your worries at home and relax in this nearly new cabin, complete with shampoo, conditioner, body soap and everything you could want in the kitchen: air popper popcorn maker, Cuisinart, crockpot, blender, AeroPress and coffee maker. Full game cabinet with puzzles, board games, and more! Bedrooms with ultra comfortable mattresses, duvets, high quality linens and pillows, nightstands with reading lamps, dressers, large closets with ample coat hangers, and luggage stands. Bathroom with granite 8' counter with lots of room for your toiletries, hair dryer, complimentary makeup remover towelettes, deep soak tub, and tiled walls. Bath towels, beach towels, and shop rags provided. A stay at this cabin is truly something special! Ski waxing area. Ski onto the Methow Trail system from the carport. **This home might not be suitable for small children. There is a seasonal irrigation canal in the backyard that is close to the home but not visible from the home due to the tall riparian grasses. Owner's (3rd bedroom) and storage area(s) locked out.

We love the gourmet kitchen and enjoyed spending time in the lovely living room, especially with the fire stove on. Also liked the gear room and access to the carport. The blinds in the bedrooms were a little hard to figure out, but that was the only hitch. Otherwise lucky star cabin is a very special place and we’d love to rent again.

Great Location in Winthrop

Perfect location for exploring the Winthrop area. Close to the trail system and within walking distance of our favorite restaurants. All the necessities for relaxing after a day outdoors with an amazing kitchen for those who love to cook on vacation! Would definitely stay again!

Lucky Star Cabin Heaven!

This home is perfect! Location is great and easy to find and within easy walking distance of the beautiful library, the Winthrop Nordic trailhead, the ice rink, restaurants and shops of Winthrop. It is beautifully furnished and has a dream kitchen with everything you need.

The Lucky Star Cabin is a fantastic home base to explore the town of Winthrop. It’s modern, clean and has everything you’ll need and more. The kitchen is well appointed and spacious and we loved the gas fireplace in the great room. It heats up the house and makes it very cozy. They have a bookshelf full of games and puzzles that my family loved! It’s a short walk to the grocery store, the ice rink, library and downtown area. Denise was wonderful to work with and we highly recommend her cabin!

Wow. Blown away by the kindness and attentiveness of Denise (host) and the house was amazing. It was wildfire season, and she knew I had concerns, so she gave me a heads up about one with up-to-date local pictures from the neighbor. Luckily it didn't affect our stay due to the efforts of the brave firefighters. The house was immaculate and you can see and feel the care and detail put into every part of the it - kitchen, bedrooms, living room, etc. It's like she already knew what we needed before we knew we needed it ourselves! There are already rave reviews about the kitchen and cooking, utensils, etc. so I'll just confirm that yes, it is amazing. 5 stars!
