"I admit to using AI to generate this review but it was based fully on real experiences (we checked out 3 hours after check in and received a refund for the second and thirds nights we had booked) I would love to give this hotel a proper review, but unfortunately we only survived about three hours—just enough time to question every life decision that led us there. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted not by a friendly atmosphere, but by a very *enthusiastic* cloud of marijuana smoke that seemed to have booked a long-term stay. The scent wasn’t just in the hallway—it was in the walls, the air, possibly even the furniture’s emotional support system. Things really took a turn when police cars began arriving and casually patrolling the property like it was part of their nightly routine. Nothing says “relaxing getaway” quite like flashing lights and officers doing laps outside your window. For added ambiance, there was a man on the stairwell who appeared to be in a deep, philosophical conversation with the floor—completely unresponsive and definitely not part of the concierge team. Naturally concerned, we asked the receptionist if everything was okay. She assured us it was “perfectly safe”… all while speaking to us through a sliding glass window, safely sealed behind a locked door like she was preparing for a bank heist. At that point, we decided our survival instincts were worth listening to and made a speedy exit."

"If I could give this property more than 5 stars I would! The host made us feel very welcome and informed from the beginning to the end of our trip! Our first impression upon arrival with the huge oak tree with the Spanish moss hanging from it and fountain was breathtaking. The home itself was perfect and every detail was thought of from the the amazing beds and appliances down to the little signage that somehow fit in with the decor and left us with no questions of where things were placed, and instructions for the things we needed to know. There were more than enough bath towels, pool towels, coffee and supplies! This is something that is sometimes lacking. Our most favorite thing to do was just to sit out back in the hot tub, watch nature and enjoy the awesome view as the kids played in the pool. We hope to return again on our next trip!"

"Please beware and stay here only if you literally have NO other options or if there is a complete overhaul! This hotel is along the same corridor (White Bluff & Abercorn) as several other chains and appears on the site to be on par with the others in terms of ratings and price. But please, don't be fooled!!! We typically stay at the Fairfield Inn Midtown which is always clean and completely "on-point", but not this nightmare! Firstly, we needed a room with two beds and were put in an accessible room on the first floor. We would not have minded, but the tub chair in the roll-in shower was not at all clear and we felt sorry for those who needed to use it. The bathroom was filthy! There was literal black mold on the ceiling, the floor had clear ground-in filth and the corners had dirt and mold. What's worse, when we finally got to our room to sleep at about 10 PM there was a man using an extremely loud industrial vacuum on the carpet in the hallway- at 10 PM!!! To sum up this hotel is a dirty mess. The lobby is dated and appears unkempt. The room was flat-out nasty. It scares me to think about what was ground into the carpet! Fortunately, Expedia was amazing and got our second night credited back and we were free to leave int he morning! Please take my word, the pics. online are very deceiving. Horrible hotel very close to many other great choices, avoid at all costs!"
