Wasn’t sure what to expect, but for a place to stay and venture out and explore the area it was very good. Not sure what the heavy smell was, maybe the laundry in the basement?

reat location and excellent staff service. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast is available for a nominal charge, which is convenient. I loved having a 7-Eleven and laundry facilities right on the first floor. Fresh towels and bottled water were provided every day. I stayed for four nights — they offer daily cleaning, but I opted out since it wasn’t necessary. I highly recommend this place. It’s an affordable and comfortable stay. Party is first come but late at night it is crowded.

I wasn't ready to use Kiasko checking in to the Hotel. I have a American i.d. and the checking machine isn't ready to accept it.

I think this hotel must have had a recent rebranding because the shampoo bottles, mugs, and key cards say "Hotel Kenny Story". There are notices in the elevator saying that was of November 1st the restaurant is closed and housekeeping is every third day instead of every day, so I guess the hotel is struggling. My room had a kitchenette, but I couldn't cook anything because there were no plates on pans or cutlery provided, just a hob, a kettle and two mugs. My room had broken furniture and the water drained epically slowly down the drain of the sink in the bathroom. It's seen better days. But the staff were lovely, and I had four very good nights sleep.

Decent. Woukd stay again.
