Beautiful cabin in wimberly!

This place was perfect for our girls weekend! It was a beautiful, spacious, and homey cabin. There were so many amenities: the pool, a basketball court, lounge chairs by the fire, access to the lake. The location is a short walk into town, but would not recommend doing the walk after dark because the road leading into it is very poorly lit at night. We loved our stay so much that we all plan on renting it again with our families and children!

Perfect Getaway

We rented this gorgeous house as a Spring Break getaway and it was perfect. Very clean and within walking distance to the main shopping area. The home had everything we needed! Even though the water was still a little chilly, we really enjoyed the beautiful pool. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you to the owners and property manager for making our stay so enjoyable.

Wonderful time in Wimberly

We were looking forward to an in-Texas mini spring break getaway for our family. Mill Race Lodge was an excellent choice! It was a beautiful log cabin like house with all the amenities we needed. It’s close to everything in Wimberly and has a beautiful view backing up to the creek. We will come back when it’s warmer for some outside water fun and highly recommend this property. If I had a question I received a prompt reply. Couldn’t have had a better time!

Amazing Race Mill Lodge!

Race Mill Lodge is a beautiful property, brimming with character and charm. We had an amazing time and the kids were spoilt for choice for activities. Can’t recommend this place highly enough - we loved it!

Mill Race Magic

We were in Wimberly for a magical weekend to celebrate our daughters’s wedding to her fiancé. Our son and his family with two children stayed at Mill Race Lodge. We loved the game room and outdoor pool, trampoline for the kids. The adults especially enjoyed the beautiful art collection and the chefs kitchen and the feeling of a magical experience. The best family vacation we've had in a long time

Our stay at Mill Race Lodge was wonderful. The house is large and charming and sits on the grassy banks of a lovely stretch of Cypress Creek, shaded by live oaks and cypress trees. The house had everything needed for our family to relax, play, and swim. It was beautiful inside and out. We all loved it and highly recommend it.

It is a beautiful property and house! There is lots to do for any age! We will definitely go back!

The House was clean, well stocked in the kitchen. It was comfy and inviting! Our four kids loved all the movie choices as well as the ping pong table, air hockey and fussball game. It was close to town so we could walk, but it was also very private! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to vacation in the Wimberley area!

Annual Guy Trip

Outstanding lodge, fine furniture, propane full, very clean and what was even better is the owner. He wants you to be happy and enjoy. Beautiful and well shaded backyard with lit concrete steps and side walk to and around the creek. Easy fishing and floating. Pool area is also nice and a great place to tan.

Gorgeous Property and Great Location!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home and host! Charles went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our long weekend in Wimberley! The house is well appointed and comfortable; lots of towels, dishes and comfortables places to relax! The pool is perfect for cooling off and the backyard has a gorgeous view of the creek. I would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends and we will be back!

Simply stunning

What an amazing place to spend a weekend (or a lot longer). Spotlessly clean, centrally located (yet out of the hustle and bustle) and so well equipped. Even with rain for our first 36 hours, the place just worked - lots to do for the kids in the games room and great leather couches to just cuddle up with a glass of wine. Would love to come back in high summer to enjoy the river. Firepit was great. Thanks agains for amazing stay - we will be back.

We had 5 adults and 2 kids (ages 11 and 17) everyone had a wonderful time. The property is absolutely beautiful. You will not even want to leave the house. It is so comfortable and homey. There are so many things to do that you will not get bored! I hated leaving and we already want to go back!

Excellent Owner Communication and Wonderful Property

We had a truly wonderful experience at this property. The owner of the property is extremely attentive to details, and he did a great job of welcoming us to his property and making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The owner really did a great job with this property. The property itself was a great. There is a rope swing on the creek, outdoor seating everywhere, and the main living quarters are phenomenal. We would not hesitate to book this property for future visits.

A gorgeous property!

We were blown away. We had excellent communication before and throughout. The pictures do not do it justice- the interior of the house is both elegant and cozy / comfortable- no easy feat. The back of the house with access to the crystal clear creek was amazing. The kids also loved the pool and trampoline. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back!

Mill Race Staycation

We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly located property on Cypress Creek! The property is situated within two minutes of either the town square or the local HEB, and you're only 5-10 minutes from nearby breweries and wineries. The house has a great outdoor setting, with a fire pit and plenty of seating -- there's also a large table down by the creek to sip your morning coffee and ease into the day. The bedrooms are large and great for families old and young, and there's a large gameroom upstairs that has air hockey, foosball and a large TV. The best part is the pool out front that we spent a lot of time at! Even though the pool is out front, there is very little traffic on this street and so you have a sense of privacy anyway. Well-stocked kitchen and we took full advantage of both it and the grill outside. Recommend this place highly!

Halloween Wedding

We love this home!!! It was so very comfortable and calming. The backyard was a jewel! Right on Cypress Creek. Birds and deer were daily visitors. If you want a relaxing rental you can't go wrong with this home. It was a welcome respite from the chaos of our daughter's wedding at the Wildflower Country Inn!!!! We will definitely be back!!!
