The adorable agave-colored exterior of the home blends beautifully with the landscaping work of plants, flowers, and pottery. The decor of the home brings the beauty of nature inside with florals, hardwood floors, and a rock fireplace. Just a few steps away, the Getaway kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. Prepare veggies and sides in the kitchen and toss some steaks on the charcoal grill for a classic feast! Nicely decorated. The wall H/C system in the living room does not provide enough heat so the space heaters and firewood provided for the fireplace were a nice addition. You cant beat the view of the creek. Far enough for a quiet, relaxing stay and just a short drive to downtown to enjoy dining and shopping. The owners are very nice and quick to respond to texts, if you have any problems. The property itself is small, but there’s enough room for all your luggage and freely moving around. It’s not cramped at all! It’s a beautiful and quaint town that’s super convenient to get around (as there’s just one main road), and the creeks/trails are awesome. The only things I would precaution are to obviously wash all the dishes before you use them, shower early or late before the hot water runs out, and be aware there might be bugs. We had a beetle and some flies get in somewhere. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay! ##### Luba C. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very pleasant, clean and very well kept. Nice and peaceful right on the creek with constant trickling water. The place was clean, cozy & very well organized for a small cabin. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen very usable for two people. Awesome access to the nearby creek bed was a nice place to go out and wander (with our dog). We were also very close to downtown Wimberley, where we spent plenty of time on the restaurants and shops. Our cabin had an amazing view of the stream and trees. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only negative I had was that the mattress was not very comfortable and rolled to the middle. ##### Sharon R.
