After a long day, Come On Inn and take a load off at this charming hill country escape. Located within minutes of the Wimberley downtown square, this one room getaway will sleep up to 4 guests making it perfect for couples or small families looking for hill country adventure. Relax and unwind where the deer roam and the stars twinkle at this one room escape. For those traveling with their furry friends they are welcome to Come on Inn for an additional fee. Please note there is a main house also located on the property that is not included in the rental. Upon arrival guests will find a private drive just to the rear of the main house. Follow the path to the side door of the metal building to the front door featuring rocking chairs, a charcoal grill, and maybe even a few curious deer to greet you. Come On Inn to this sunny bright little escape. Guests will find a king and a full bed with colorful and comfortable linens. A sitting area with a sofa and bench perfect to play a game or watch a favorite sports team on the large screen television. The kitchen offers just enough appliances to prepare simple meals or with Wimberley only minutes away dine at one of the fabulous restaurants in the square. We had to go to San Marcos and the distance was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved turning the little fire place heater on and watching movies. The road is a little rough but manageable. We drove our regular SUV and made it down the road just fine, no bottom outs. After a few trips down the road we were pros at making it a smooth drive. The kids also loved going to the top of the tower and looking out. I woke up early and watched the sun come up, it was beautiful and peaceful. No loud noises or traffic. Unfortunately with the smell SO bad it made the entire stay bad! The place could be a nice place to stay if it didn’t smell so bad. Also, the road to the property is deplorable! We were going to bring our little sport car on this trip, thank goodness we didn’t. There would have been NO way to get to the house. A truck or SUV is required to get down the road.
